Ingersoll Rand Inc, the United States-based industrial product manufacturer and a seven-time participant at the China International Import Expo, will continue to deliver solutions to meet the evolving needs of high-end manufacturing and sustainability in China, said a senior executive.

Speaking at the company's booth during the seventh CIIE in Shanghai in early November, Arnold Li, the group's senior vice-president, said these moves will empower Chinese customers to boost their operation efficiency.

"We will also strengthen our partnerships with local customers and stakeholders to gain deeper insights into their needs and provide tailored solutions," said Li.

The Davidson, North Carolina-headquartered group believes that sectors, including healthcare, biotechnology, new energy and automation will be its next growth points in China. The company provides blowers, vacuum systems and pumps, air and natural gas compressor and other technologies and services to the Chinese market.

As CIIE has become a key platform for multinational corporations to launch new products, Ingersoll Rand showcased the world premiere of its latest compressor during the grand event this year.

China has introduced several policy measures to boost the growth of strategic emerging industries, providing solid technical support for accelerating the high-quality development of new industries to power its economic growth, according to information released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Strategic emerging industries in China include sectors such as energy-saving and environmental protection, next-generation information technology, biotechnology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, advanced materials and electric vehicles.

"The Chinese market holds a pivotal position in our global business strategy. As the second-largest economy in the world, China offers immense potential and innovative capabilities, presenting us with numerous opportunities for growth," said Li.

"We firmly believe that the Chinese market is not only a key driver of our current business expansion but also a core focus of our future strategic layout," he added.

Since entering China nearly four decades ago, Ingersoll Rand has evolved from introducing technologies and products to achieving local manufacturing and innovation.

The group currently operates one investment company, several trading companies, multiple manufacturing bases and one Asia-Pacific technology research and development center in China.
