The Connecting Rod:
The connecting rod is moving part between crosshead and crackshaft.
It converts rotating motion into reciprocating motion.All the connecting rods are made from forged steel or ductile iron,which are machined on both sides.Centre distance between big end and small end is maintained for perfect straightness & perfect boring of big end and small end.
The connecting rods are drilled internally perfect to maintain lubrication and oil pressure of unit.
