LNG is lighter than air.
Fumes stay at ground level and quickly dissipate
LNG has a high ignition temperature
(999 °F versus 480 °F for diesel)
LNG has a limited flammability range
of 5% to 15% in atmosphere compared to 1% to 99% for gasoline
LNG is stored at relatively low pressures, typically 50 to 150 psi (3.5 to 10.3 bar), compared to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which is stored at much higher pressures, typically 3000 to 3600 psi (206 to 248 bar).
